Fishing

[19:32]  Nadi taking what is left of her Master's bread, nadi tears it into small pieces. Drops the pieces in a bucket, humming a happy song she learned as a child, she picks up the bucket. Walking outside she looks under the wagon. Grinning broadly her line of pearl white teeth showing, kneels grasping the fishing pole. Dances to the river, the warm sun on her tanned shoulders.

[19:39]  Nadi dumps the bread chunks onto the ground. Lifts her hook placing a piece of bread on it, an throws her line into the water. Within a moment her line is yanked, holding the pole tight she pulls in a grunt. Unhooks it an throws it in her bucket, baits her hook again an continues fishing.

[19:49]  Nadi listening to the shrill calls of the kite as they fly about the meadow. After catching many grunt and several striped parsit, her bucket is full. Watches a tumit out of the corner of her eye wading towards her. Standing nadi picks up her bucket of fresh fish an heads back to her Master's wagon. Determined to not share not to share with the large tumit.

[19:56]  Nadi stands at a good distance listening to the snarling sleen her Master has caged. nadi tosses the fish to him to eat. Watching as he devours half the bucket in no time at all.

[19:59] Nadi Turning she strolls around to the other side of the wagon. Laying out a rug, kneeling she takes her ulo from the pouch on her belt. Starts to clean the fish giggles seeing the meadow larks as they move closer hoping for scraps. After gutting and cleaning the fish carefully, lays down a large board. Opening a bag of salt, she rubs the fish filets with a good deal of salt an hangs them on the fish rack. Stepping back looks at her work an smiles knowing her Master will be pleased.

[20:03]  Nadi gathering up the guts an bones for the fish, puts them in the bucket. Walks over to the pond, cleaning the board. Shakes out the rug, rolls it up an places everything back under the wagon. Strolling a fair distance from the kaiila, nadi tosses him the rest of the fish an entrails. Watches a he eats them hungrily. Happily skips back to her Master's wagon, stopping to rinse out the bucket in the pond. Rinses off her ulo wiping it dry on her camisk, puts it back in her pouch. Turns running to the wagon to wait for her Master.
